C.A UTION! To PREVENT BURGLARIES.—A "Pyramid" Night Light should be lighted in the front and back of every house as soon as it is dark. Housebreakers have the greatest dread of a light. The Police recommend a Pyramid Night Light as the best safeguard. Almost all the burglaries perpetrated might have been prevented and much VALUABLE PROPERTY bAVED, if this simple and inexpensive plan had always been adopted. The "Pyramid" Night Lights are much larger and give double the light of the common night lights, and are therefore particularly adapted for this purpose. ANTI-CONTAGIO US ANTI-RHEUMATIC FLANNEL PATENT TS a protection against all infectious diseases, and a certain cure for Rheumatism, Sciatica, &c. Any person whose duty it is to attend to tne sick, afflicted with infectious disease, should not be with- out this Flannel, as it contains a most powerful Anti-Contagious Solution. It also contains a very powerful Anti-Rheumatic Solution most eihcacious, and no one suffering from Rheumatism should be without it; in fact, the Flannel is impregnated through with a most costly embrocation. Now when you take an ordinary embrocation and rub it on the part affected, the hand .th: rubs and the part rubbed create friction, the heat and current of air thus created carries away particles which are efficacious. While you think, therefore, that you are rubbing it into the body the greater part of it is simply evaporating. You will see then that the embrocation being embodied in this flannel does away with that evil. When a good undergarment of this Flannel is worn next to he flesh there is a gentle, yet perpetual application of this solution, the heat of the oody drawing it out. The combination therefore of wool and solution, worn next to the flesh, must of necessity protect and cure. As to the washing of this Flannel, soap and water will fetch the dirt out, but not the solution. Can be had in Natural Colour and Scarlet. ANTI-RHEUMATIC HOSIERY CAN BE HAD IN Men's Ribbed Hose and Half Hose, Ladies' Black Bibbed and Plain Hose. We could give many Testimonials ia its favour like the following FROM A BLACKBURN LADY.—My Dear Sir —Allow me to tell you that your Flannel cures other ailments besides Rheumattism. I have beep troubled with a pain in the spine for years, and the wearing of your Anti-Rheumatic Flannel has taken it entirely away, when the doctors I have tried have failed to give relief. FROM A ROCHDALE GENTLEMAN.—Dear Sir,—I lmve been troubled with Rheumatism in the shoulder for years previous to wearing your Flannel! I had two undershirts made of it four years ago, andmy Rheumatism left me, and as I have continued to wear it my Rheumatism has not returned, lshall always wear it so long as I can procure it. FROM AN ULVERSTON GENTLEMAN.—Sir,—When I first wrote for your Flannel about nine years ago, I was sufferingfrom Rheumatism in my knees and shoulders; it was recommended to me by a la-iy. who had been cured of her Rheumatism through wearing it. As soon as I received it I had drawers lined with it, and two good undershirts made of it. I tell you with plaasure that mv Rheumatism left me directly. FROM A MANCHESTER GENTLEMAN.—Dear Sir,—I know nothing of Rheumatism now: your Flannel has taken it entirely away. FROM DR T. H. HAYIE, M.B. (LoND.), ROCHDALE (Who attended the late Right Hon. John Bright, M.P., during his last illness). I have pleasure in recommending the Anti-Rheumatic Flannel, and I think it very good for Rheumatism and for Bronchitis. The smell of it is very pleasant and refreshing, besides being a dis- infectant gives off Oxygen, so that one is, as it were, surrounded by a layer of fresh air. SOLD BY E. W.
