LIVERPOOL, Tuesday.—The foreign imports into Liverpool for the past week include 482,441 centals wheat, 330,757 maize, and 72,835 flour, exports comprise 1774 centals wheat, 892 maize, and 3156 flour. At ports of call there are at present on sale 21 cargoes wheat and 14 maize, against 19 and three at the corresponding period in 1879. The farmers' deliveries in 150 towns in England and Wales average for five weeks ending the 24th April of wheat 26,674 quarters at 47s lid, of barley 12,136 quarters at 33s lid, and of oats 2901 quarters at 23s 8d. At to-day's market, with an average attendance, but a dull feeling and only a very limited demand, wheat declined in value 2d per cental. Flour moved slowly at late prices. Oats of all kiiids ruled flat; oatmeal dull and weaker. Egyptian beans, from scarcity on the spot, brought rather more money. Canadian peas realised late currencies. Indian corn, being in large supply, freely offered, and in less active request, gave way nearly 4d per lOOlbs American new mixed selling at 4s lid to 5s per cental.

CATTLE. LONDON, Monday.—Trade in the beast market has been slow, and for some classes purchases have been made upon slightly easier terms. Foreign breeds realised full values. The British supply comprised 175 Scotch, 1,200 Norfolk, Suftolk, and Essex, 925 Midland and Home 1 counties. A short supply of sheep, and prices rather higher. Lambs realise more money. halves dull sale, at about 4d per 8lbs reduction. Pigs also cheaper. Beef, 4s 6d to 6s; mutton, 4s 6d to 7s veal, 5s to 6s 8d pork, 4s 6d to 5s 6d; lamb, 8s to 9s 4d per 81bs. Beasts, 3,010 sheep and lambs, 10,720; calves, 140; pigs, 40; includ- ing foreign beasts, 710; sheep, 30; calves, 50; pigs, 20. SALFORD, Tuesday,—The number of beasts was rather less than last week, but the quality was good, and a brisk trade was done at the extreme rates of last Tuesday. The number of sheep was about the same as last week, with a more active demand, and prices advanced quite td per pound, 2 and in some instaaces a fraction more was realised. Only a slow trade in calves, the best making only 8d per pound. Quotations Beef, 6id to 9d; 2 4 mutton, 8id to lOd; veal, 8d to id per pound. 4

PRODUCE. LONDON, Tuesday.—Sugar: The market closed dull with the exception of crystallised sorts, which realised steady prices. Coffee sales passed off with out material alteration in values. Cocoa Good and fine sold at full prices; medium and low kinds flat and lower. Tea: Considering the large quantity of China offered, prices were generally steady; Indian a flat sale. Rice unaltered. Cotton market weaker. Jute dull and inactive. Tallow, new, 42s 6d on the spot.—Afternoon report: Tallow and oils unchauged.
WOOL.
WOOL. LONDON, Tuesday.—Messrs Williams, Overbury, and Co. offered for sale this evening 9.106 bales of wool, comprising 3,548 bales Port Phillip, 2,114 New Zealand, 1,272 Adelaide, 939 Sydney, 855 Cape and Natal, and 378 Spanish. The sale passed off with a firm tone.

HAY AND STRAW. LONDON, Tuesday.—The supply of fodder to- day was large, and the trade was very dull. Inferior stuff was the turn cheaper. Prime clover, 100s to 132s; inferior ditto, 60s to 95s prime meadow hay, 80s to 102s 6d; inferior ditto, 31; to 70s; and straw, 30s to 38 per load of 36 trusses.
