PORTH. WORKMEN'S TRIP.—The employes of Messrs Charles Jenkins and Son, timber merchants and contractors, Perth, availed themselves of a trip to Porthcawl on Saturday last. The men—upwards of 100 in number—were conveyed in brakes pro- vided by Mr Lone, Pontypridd. The Cymmer Colliery brass band, by the kind permission of the coliiery manager, Mr T. Griffiths, were in attendance, and under the leadership of Mr Martin, played a selection of music. The weather throughout the day was most favour- able, and all thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
