THE SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO. BYE-LAWS for the regulation of the Leading, Unloading, and Conveyance of Explosives on the Railways of the Railway Company (hereinafter called the Company) made under and ;n pursuance oi the Explosives Act. h;5 (>8 Vic., cbap, 17) and every other power and authority vested in the Company. (a) The words and expressions used in the following Bye-Laws thali respectively have and include th-j sevtml meaning* as- signed to them c r defined )n "The Explosives Act, 1875," and in the Order of Her Majesty in Conncil dated the 5th of August, 1875, made in pursrance of Section 106 of the said Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requirei. (b) The term Explosive" me-OIl and Shall inelttde and apply to every article and substance mentioned as or defised to be an Explosive in aDd by the 8rd Secdon of the said Act, or the said Order in Council, or any Order in Council which may hereafter be made in pursuance of the said Act. (c) Where by any of these Bye-Laws any time Is prescribed or allowed for giving any notice to the Company, or for the doing cf any act by the Company, such time shaH he computed ex- clusively of Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday, and any statutory Bank Holiday. 1. No carriage containing any Explosive which the Company shall, by any notice or regulation for the time being in force, notify that they will n,t receive, forward, or carry, shall ba delivered to the Oou panv for convejaoce, or be brought. sent, or forwarded to or upon any Railway of the Company. 2.
