LLANELLY. LOCAL BOARD OF HEALTH.At the monthly meeting of this Board held on Saturday, Mr. H. J. Howell in the ehair, Mr. J. B. Phillips, the new member, attended and subscribed the declaration required by the Public Health Act of 1848.-A letter was read from Mr. Simon, the medical officer of the Local Government Board, saying that the Board had no power to pay several medical gen- tlemen to make returns of all cases of epidemic and eudemic diseases.
