Four Pay Boarders, and One Day Scholar, will be considered by the Local Governors at their monthly meeting on the 5th day of DECEMBER next. Forms of application may be obtained from Mr. Wal- dron, Cardiff, the Clerk to the Local Governors. The sum charged for the board, washing, and mainten- ance of each pay boarder is £ 20 per annum in addition to the cost of her clothing. The course of instruction includes the principles of the Christian religion, reading, writing, arithmetic, English grammar, geography, biography, history, music, drawing, and languages. The girls are also taught needlework, and to cut out and make their own clothes. The terms for day scholars are a payment of 10s. as an entrance fee, and £ 1 10s. a quarter for girls under 12 years, and X2 for girls above that age; and arrangements may be made with the Head Mistress to receive day scholars as day boarders.
