THE Act of Parliament for the Incorporation of this Com- pany having, on the 13th day of August instant, received the royal assent, the first general meeting of the shareholders is appointed to take place at the offices of the Company, situate at No. 2, Moorgate-streot, in the city of London, on Thursday, the tenth day of September next, at the hour of one o'clock in the afternoon precisely, for the purpose of transacting the bu- siness appointed by the Companies' Clauses Consolidation Act, 1845, and the Monmouthshire Railway Act, 1846, to be done at such ordinary meeting.
