Observing a paragraph in your paper of this day, under the I head Money Market," wherein you state, A Company of f which the whole deposit was paid, could hardly he a bad or an unsafe one," I beg to state, for the satisfaction of the share- i holders of the Forest of Dean and Gloucester Junction Rail- way Company, that the deposits upon the allotted shares, amounting to ^Cd4,000, have been paid into the hands of the bankers of the company, of which the greater part has been invested at interest,-the unallotted shares being reserved for the landowners on the line, and for other contingencies, as is usual in all railway companies.
