GEKTHMEM,—Being recently at Norwich, I called upon a gentleman at his request. He said, 1 had been very unwell for two or three years, my stomach much out of order, and con- stantly felt a difficulty in breathing; I empl yed two medical gentlemen, and took it great quantity of medicine, bu. deiived no benefit; on the contrary, I found myself dailv declining and getting weaker, so that I could scarcely walk from one street to another; indeed I was in a melancholy desponding state. Ac. cordingly I p rchased a box, and took them as directed. At the end ol a week I was much better, having taken, I think, only eighteen pitts. consequent y, 1 conunu d taking them regularly, and when I had taken two boxes and a half 1 became quite wel) and to this day I have enjoyed life, having now good health and good spirits. If. however, I feel any slight indisposition, I have recourse to the medicine I have so much reason to prize which restores me to my ubudl good health. This gentleman wished his case to be made public, although, for obvious reasons, he could not authorise me to give his name. This timid, perhaps in some cases, prudent, cautiousness, is not uncommon. A neighboring gentleman has several times ad- mitted to me that he derives great benefit from the occasi nal use of Pan's medicines, but will n-it permit me to mention it to any one. Taunton, which mav now be considered the county town of Somersetshire, has always been the market and trading town of the country north-west of it, including Watchet and its surrounding district; the usual route to which, from London, and the North, is through ) aunton. A well remunerating passenger traffic may nencfl beexpected. The Harbour of Watchet, at spring- ides, admits vessels ot 200 tons bui then, and carries on an extensive and imponant daily trade with the po.ts of Tenby. Llanellv, Swansea, Neath, Cardiff, Newport, and Merthyr Tydvil. in Coals. Cuim, Corn, t tour, and other Provisions, Cattle, Sheep, Salt, Timber, Slates, Iron, and other articles ot merchandise; employing twelve vessels belonging to the harbour regularly, and exclusively one trading with Liverpool. It has aiso a considerable Coin, Malt, Hour and Goods' Trade with Bristol, and employs therein, several vessels, regularly.
