WE, TiiL UNDERSIGNED, being the Farmer Members for the Counties of Anglesey, Carnarvon, Merioneth, Denbigh, Flint, and Montgomery, of the Advisory Com- mittee to the Live Stock Commissioner for North Wales, Mr. D. H. McNicoll, make the following very urgent appeal to the Farmers; and Owners of Cattle and Sheep in these Counties. For the purpose of equal distribution of meat for the Army, Navy, Hospitals, and Munition Areas, it is absolutely necessary that the Live Stock Commissioners should know, as near as possible, what animals will be forthcoming weekly for the ensuing year, to meet the certir ficates for meat granted by the Army, Navy, and Food Commissioners. these demands must be met either from animals being prepared for the market, or from Store Stock in forward condition. Farmers are asked to make a return on a post- card, or by letter, to their local Auctioneer, of the probable number (with approximate dates) of all Cattle and Sheep for slaughter they will be likely to send to the market durinc the next four months.
