WHEREAS JAMES FARQUHAR, Clerk, The Honourable WILLIAM POWELL RODNEY, THOMAS DAVIES, Esquire, JAMES CHARLES HILL, Esquire, CRAVVSHAY BAILEY, •he younger, Esquire, and FERDINAND CAPEL HANBURY WILLIAMS, Esquire, being Six of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace, acting in and for the County of Monmouth, ha?e by a writing under their hands, dated the twenty-eighth day of NOVEMBER, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, required ^HARLES PROTHERO, Esquire, Clark of the Peace for the said County, to add to or send with the Notice Required by few to be given of the holding of the General Court of Quarter Sesi-ions of the Peace for the laId County, a Notice in the form marked A, in the Schedule to the Act of the 25:h and 26th years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, chapter 61, inti- tuled An Act for the better management of the High. in England," or as near thereto as circumstances admit, that at such General Quarter Sessions a pro- posal will be made to alter the Abergavenny Highway within the said County, by the union of and by Irishes of Llantillio Fertholey Ultra and Parish f ^>ertholey Citra in tbe said District into one tillio 8am0 Area as the Poor Law Parish of Llan- ^"ertholev y' anc* to be called the Parish of Llantillio wardens by declaring that no separate Way. such parish ,,e,e,ected for such parishes. And by directing that the number of Waywardens to 06 elected for such part of the Parish of L'.anover as is Dot included in the Blaenavon District, and is in the Abergavenny Highway District, shall be altered to two W ay wardens. And whereas, at the present Court of General Quarter Sessions-of the Peace for the said County, held &t the Town Hall, in the town of Usk, in and for the said County, on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, a proposal in the wins hereinbefore set forth was submitted to the said th0 said Justices. And whereas the siid Court have heard and enter. **jnea the said proposal, and have considered the pre- ises, and it has been shown to the said Court that the xr109" 'loired by the said Act have been dnlv given. therefore, tbe said Court, in pursuance ot the Power vested in the Court in and by the said Act, and in and by the 27th and 28th Victoria, cap. 101, do by the following Provisional Order direct — That the Parishes of Llantilio Pertholey, Ultra and thLraJ in the said District be joined and combined into one Parish of the same area, as the Poor Law Parish of L'ttitillio Pertholey, and to be called the parish of Llan- ullio Pertholey that no separate waywardens shall be f?4 f°r such parishes that such parish shall be sub- ject to the same liabilities in respect of the highways ™"hia it, Whjci, were before maintained by such parishes Separately, a8 if their several liabilities had attached to *"8 whole parish; and that two Waywardens shall be for aueh parish as a whole. Llantillio Pertholey Llanthewy Skyrrid Llangattock nigh Usk Llanfoist Llansaiutfraed Llanvihangel nigh Usk Oldcastle excepting from such District any and all Districts con. 4tituted under the Public Health Act, 1848, and the Local Government Act, 1853, or either of such Aots *11 parishes and places under the superintendence of Boards established under the provisions of the Act 6 and 6 William 4 cap. 60, sec, 18 all parishes and places, or Parts of parishes and Iplaces, the highways ^whereof are Maintained under the provisions of any Local Act of Parliament: and all parishes and places, or parts of Parishes and places, within the limits of any borough. It is further ordered by the said Court, that except as herein otherwise provided, each parish in the said District shall elect one Waywarden. Lastly it is ordered that the confirmation of the fore- going Provisional Order by a Final Order shall be taken into consideration by the Justices ao a Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace, to be holden at the Town Hall, in the Town of Usk aforesaid, in and for the said county, on the Eighteenth day of March, One thousand sight hundred and sixty seven.
