This district is attracting more and more attention every week, and from a perusal of the prospectus of the CENTRAL GRYLLS MINE, Limited, which appears in ojir columns, we find a statement shewing, the present price of Jne shares of several of theG-rylla mines, from which it is evident uw those who were fortunate enough to obtain shares in the +fm ol progress of those Companies have reaped large profits—for instance, the shares of Wheal Grylls, which origi- naII7 cost 22 4s. Od. per share are now worth £ 2S per share, and paying large dividends; in East Grylls, where £ 1 per share onhr has oeenpaio. the shares have risen in twelve months from £ 3 to .613 10s. per share, which they are now worth. There is scarcely any class of investment that pays the original holder 80 well as good mining shares do, particularly where the property 15 situated in a rich mineral-producing district, as in the case of the Central Grylls, where there cannot be a doubt but that the result must be both speedy and profitable, because the property is situate nearly in the middle of tke Wheal Grylls Mine, and has their rich Georgia lode passing through it. 0 The Shares being of small amount, and the liability limited to the amount of each Share, every one is enabled to beoome members for either a large or small amount, so that it oflers every inducement to thoee who are desirous of jnjMitrxotr toMtfut WW* 9$f«99«a*t ». < BRITISH AND IRISH STEAM PACKET COMPANTY. 46.
