Jenkyn Jones, Presbyterian pastor of Quimper, Finisterre, Brittany, in the loss he has sustained of his younger daughter. Emilita Antoinette, who died from measles on Wednesday, February 26, at the age of nine. The funeral took place on February 28, hundreds of people being present from Quimper and the district round it. A service was held first at the Evan- gelical Church, conducted by the Rev Monsieur Kissel, of Lorient, and the proces- sion then followed the coffin to the Pm testant cemetery, headed by some of the little one's school-fellows, who carried numerous floral tributes. The scene at the grave, where M. Kissel again officiated was ver/ affecting, and testified to the respect and affection in which Mr. Jones and his famiiy are held. The Eev.
