At, the rioce of 3 scent vestry meeting held at the Town-hall, Sê, I).vid's, the tithe question was j discussed, and it, was decided to ask the tithe owners for a reduction of 25 per cent. A petition was drawn up. and signed by nearly every fanner in the parish, but, the reply received was that no abatement would be granted. At the tithe audit held last week all paid, with ilie exception of two or three farmers, who have refused to do so until a reduction is granted.
