BFRGKSS, Dear bir.-I was in attendance on Mr. Baker's family about three months ago, when he asked my advice about his son, who is suffering from Hip disease. I examined the buy and advised Mr. Baker to put him in one of the London Hospitals to be operated on. Mr. Baker acted on my advice, and made ap- plication at several of the hospitals, but with- out success, being told on each occasion that the boy was incurable. A pliorb time after- wards Mr. Baker came to me and said he was advised to use our Lion Ointment, and would do so if I would supervise the use of it, and in accordance with Mr. Baker's wish 1 put the buy under treatment with your Ointment, and the result is most satis- "■ factory. I was so impressed with the good effect it had that I have since used it in a variety of cases fit my own practice, such as Skin diseases, Ulcers, Rheumatic Gout, Small-pox, &c., with a good result. In Small-pox I applied the Oilltmellt to the rash on its first appearance, and iind that it liag effectually prevented pitting in every instance.
