STKAY ITU MS. Llandro is coming out strong in the athletic world, for the Llandilo boys made a clean sweep of the boards at thd Llanelly sports. Mr. W. II. Gwvnxi, the popular secretary of the Welsh Hug by Union, iias recently been away for a short holiday at Zermatt, whiah reposes in the Alps, some 10,000ft. above the sea. The surprise packet at the Llanelly sports on Saturday, was D. J. Morris, the J landilo cyclist, lie was a most graceful rider and made himself immensely popular among the spectators. The Swansea Tennis Club were to have played Kidwelly last Saturday, but were unable to get up a team, so many of the "wr,D,sea cracks being away for holidayis just at present.. While riding in the one mile bicycle race at Llanelly on Saturday John Auckland when going at top tjj;eed, fell and received a rather severe injury to his right leg, which will keep him to bed for about three weeks, This was very rough on little Auckland, as ho bad ridden well throughout the race, and was certain fer a place.
