POWELL Has been instructed to SELL BY AUCTION, At the STEPNEY ARMS HOTEL, LLANELLY, on THURSDAY, 18th APRIL next, at One for Two o'Clock precisely, THE above-mentioned COLLIERY, which is held under leases from Lord Dynevor AND Lord Cawdor, dated respectively 3rd December, 1866, and the 30th October, 1865, for the several terms of forty years, at royalties of 7d. a ton of 2,6401bs. and 21cwt. It has an extensive area, and comprises several well known veins called" The Pump Quart," containing 370 acres, estimated to produce 1,540,000 tons; "The Triquart," containing 190 acres, estimated to produce 500,000 tons; and the "Race Vach," containing 580 acres, and eati acres, and estimated to yield 1,248,000 tons and also valuable veins of Culm, Blackband, Iron, Stone, and Fire Clay in addition. It is the key to a large Mineral District. All the veins have proved most satisfactory. At the present prices of Coal the Colliery with the out- lay of a moderate capital cannot fail to be a most RE- munerative undertaking. The reports of two well- known Engineers will be produced at the time of Sale. The Burry Port and Gwendraeth^ Valley Railway is opened within one quarter of a mile of the Colliery, and there is an Act passed to extend the Line through this Colliery. The Llanelly and Mynyddmawr Railway is within half a mile to the south of the Colliery, and which will have a junction with the London and North- Western Railway.
