"VTOTICE IS HERECY GIVEN, that application has 131 been made to the Board of Trade by the Urban Sanitary Authority for the District of Oystermouth in the county of Glamorgan for the regulation by such Autho- rity of an Oyster and Mussel Fishery in part of Swansea Bay and part of the Bristol Channel lying off the South Coast of Gower in the said County. The proposed Provisional Order will transfer from the Corporation of Swansea, to the Oystermouth Urban Sani- tary Authority the powers for the regulation maintenance and improvement of the Fishery hereinafter described which were conferred on the said Corporation by the Swansea Fishery Order 1871 and will amend, or repeal and re-enact with certain modifications the said Order of 1871. The limits of the Fishery are shown on a Map or Chart deposited for public inspection at the Custom House at Swansea, and also at the Custom Houses at Briton Ferry, Port Talbot, and Porthcawl, and comprise all those parts of the bed of Swansea Bay and the Bristol Channel, con- taining an area of 100 square miles or thereabouts, bounded on the North and East by the lines of extreme low water mark of Spring tides; on the West by an imaginary line drawn due South (true) from the east end of Worm's Head Island until Helwick Light Vessel bears west (true); on the South by an imaginary straight line drawn from the last-mentioned point to a point three miles due South of Port Eynon Head, or until that line is intersected by an imaginary line joining Helwick and Sker Weather Light Vessels, thence by an imaginary straight line drawn to a Navigation Buoy South of White Oyster Ledge, thence by an imaginary line drawn to the Sker Point.
