Stafford collboe, DARTMOUTH PARK, FOREST HILL, (NEAR CRYSTAL PALACE) LONDON, S E. Mr. CROSS desires to inform his many Friends in South Wales that he has now completed the ERECTION of Ms NEW SCHOOL ROOMS, rendered necessary by the increase of his Pupils. Inadditi >n to his own experience in providing suitable rooms for the mental work of Boys, lie has been assisted by an eminent Architect, and the res.dts obtained are perfect ventila- tion and coolness even in such intense heat as that recently experienced^ and also provision against the inclemency of winter. The Rooms m v, Inch Boys are placed to study are too often so constructed as to impair the bodily health and therefore to render mental exercise impossible. In Stafford College regardless of expense every thing is done to make the hours °t study cheerful, and so to lay the foundation of the Pupils health, happi- ness, and mental power. Amongst the Pupds are some whose friends have supported Mr. Cross system since his first days in Bridgend in 1858' and othersjfrom those who expressed their confidence when he began the work of a Teacher in 1854. To those who have so long supported him, it will be satisfactory to receive the recent opinion of two eminent London Physicians who are well acquainted with the daily routine carried out at Stafford College. » By an excellent arrangement of the Sleeping Apartments, and the well-contrived Rooms for Teaching added to the abundance of pure water the daily cold Bath to every person in the Establishment, and the unlimited and superior diet, no one can possibly find greater advantages for a Boy, whatever may be paid. That the teaching power is in keeping with the domestic arrangements may be inferred from the Examiners' Mid- summer Report, only a very few extracts from which can appear here. EXAMINERS: The Rev.
