Candidates must be Registered Medical Praoi itioners, and possess the qualifications required by the Local Government Board. The person to be appointed will be required to reside in the District, and to perform the several duties prescribed in the Consolidated Orders of the Local Government Board, and such oth"r duties as may be directed by the Guardians. The Salary is jB15 per annum, with the ex medical fee for such Surgical Operations, Midwifery, and Vacci- nation cases as shall be authorized by the Guardians, and are prescribed by the Orders of the Local Government Board. The Officer will be required to provide all medicines and appliances (except Cod Liver Oil, Quinine Sarsaparilla, and Trusses) and to enter on his duties forthwith on his appointment.
