IFOR RHEUMATISMS and COLDS which prevail at this season of the year, no Medicine is so safe and efficacious as Dr. JAMES's ANALEPTIC PILLS. They are admirably calculated for Disorders of the Sto- mach and Bowels, and for persons of a Bilious or a Gouty Habit. They are likewise particularly serviceable in Head- c -i aches occasioned by indigestion; as also in preventing Pal- sies and Apoplexies, so often the consequence of intem- perance. No. 9, New Bridge- street, London. DEAR SIR, J Feel it a duty incumbent upon me, to inform you of the very great and extraordinary Cure I have received from your invaluable Mcdicinc—L'EAKE's PA- TENT PILLS. About two years ago I was attacked with a Venereal Dis- order, winch i treated rather slightly for some time, but the disease at length spreading all over my body, I was obiigeef to apply to the most eminent of the faculty, but their assist- ance afforded only temporary relief.—I went through va- rious courses of salivation, and from being rather of a. cor- pulent habit was reduced to a mere skeleton. The ulcers that spread all over my limbs, rendered me a complete ob- ject, so that my friends despaired of my recovery. When brought to this situation, I considered death as inevitable, but a relation of mine commenting upon the many cases in which your Pills had succeeded, I was induced to try a box of them, which I thought rather relieved me, and by perse- verance for two or three months, and following your direc- tions, I experienced the most unaccountable relaxation from p:1.m, the sores gradually subsidipg; I am now, thank God, perfectly recovered, and walking out daily I doubt not but one more box, which I think cautious to take, will establish 111Y health in its original state.. It is with the most heartfelt gratitude, that I subscribe myself, Sir, your much obliged humble servant, fM. PIERSON. DeanSgate, Manchester, July' 1, 1801. P. S. A few cases of the extraordinary efficacy of this Tea, ar. contaimd in the. following letters:" From the Rev. IV. Pttull, MosUrof the Acadfmy at Cariic- Cary, Somerset, to the Rer. J. Gamble, Sydlhig, Dorset. Dear Sir—Hearing that yon are about to make your com- position of British Herbs more universally public, (which I trust will be an universal blessing) I conceive it a du. to you to offer the following testimonial in its favour. I am, dear, Sir. most affectionately, Castle-Cary, Yours in the Bonds of the Go-;sel, Sept. 25, 1799. W. PA I LL. I (hiilk it is nearly twelve months ago, that the Rev. Mr. Gamble and I became acquainted, at which time he srrongl y- ieco:mnen-ded to me the use of a composition of Rritlsli Herbs, as a substitute for foreign Tea, of which I was then in the habit of drinking very freely, and that to the injurv, it is tCil be feared, of ray constitution. I trust I can saiviy say, that the constant use of the Rev. J. Gamble's Tea, has, under God, been very beneficial, both to n>e and Mrs. Paul!, so, indeed, that I cannot take a wnjc cup of foreign tea, without, in some degree or other,'feeding the sad etfeeta of its perniciously bauetid qualities Mr. Gamble's acting vice versa on the constitution. I can also recommend it in the strongest terms a. a very valuable composition, made as a strong medicinal (eií tor colds indeed it ought to he re- ceived with thankfulness as a blessing to the .British nation. Having the care of the health and education of a iarue iium- uer of young gentlemen, it »s natural to conjecture,'that iu the course of a year we have many colds auiontr us. The liev. Mr. Gamble's Tea, made strong, and sweetened with Rev. Mr. Gamble's Tea, made strong, and sweetened with moist sugar, has repeatedly removed the power of a cold, even in one night, in consequence of which, I beg to recom- mend it to the attention ol masters and mistresses of uca- jdeuiies and boarding-schools in general. Everv family shotlld also be in possession of so valuable a composition. Being very suuject to frequent colds III mv head. I have also repeatedly found the Re v. Mr. Gamble's AROMATIC SALFF truly beneficial in e/rteetorating the cohl distilla- tions and rheumesof the head and eyes. People, who l-echi to drink Mr. Gamble's 1 ea. should persevere in the ve eo: it W. PAULL, Master ol use A.Cademy, C'astie-Carv, Somerset.
