RI^IIE very great efficacy of this Medicine in JL the Influenza of last: year is too recent to be for- gotten; but it. was moat singular when taken on the first at- tack, for in those cases, where the FEVER was allowed to gain ground and ravage the constitution, before the Powder was resorted to, the disorder became obstinate, protracted, and sometimes fatal. Upon all occasions this Medicine should be given at the commencement of a' Fever, of whatever kind; for if it be not sutricient of itself to cifect a cure, it is the best preparative for the bark, and other remedies-which I LT I c the symptoms require but as tilt: genuine Powder has been often known to restore the patient, aiter its substitutes and every other febrifuge have failed, it ought even in the last extremity to be tried. Great benefits have been derived IROIN the Powder, when taken cva ry night as an alterative, in disorders thought beyond the. reach'of Medicine; and from a communication from the RE% .-Mr. Singleton Harpur, of Dublin, there is reason to that it may be used in this MANNER with success in the J-1 ? drocephaius, or Water oil the Brain.
