LLANWRIN. GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES.—On Good Friday, there were two services held at the church. The morning service commenced at ten, and the evening service at seven. The attendance was good the Rev. D. S. Evans, B.D., the Rector preached effective and appropriate sermons. CHILDREN'S TREAT.—On Thursday, April 25th, the chil- dren of this village, and the surrounding district, had an excellent treat, given them by Airs. Charles, Minfford Cottage. The afternoon was so warm that the tables were placed in the orchard, close to Mrs. Charles's resi- dence, where the children were well protected from the sun. It was an evident pleasure to Mrs. Charles to attend upon the young ones, and she trusts to have another op- portunity of entertaining them, when she hopes that more will be present. The children expressed their gratitude by singing several songs.
