HEADS OF THE WELSH NATIONAL MUSEUM. The London Welsh correspondent of the South Wales Daily News writes to that organ I learn on good authority that, with the view of obtaining a proper representation of North as well as of South Wales amongst the official heads of the National Museum at Cardiff, Lord Mostyn has been invited to become its vice-president. For the presidency, as I have previously an- nounced, Sir Alfred Thomas, the chairman of the Welsh Parliamentary Party, has been duly nominated. Lord Mostyn, particularly in con- nection with the National Eisteddfod and similar movements, has taken a keen interest in the literary and antiquarian side of Welsh life, and his association with the National Museum cannot fail to be gratifying to the people of Wales."
