The Manchester Guardian reports that Mr. W. Wynn Evans, the Coroner for East Denbigh- shire, has left Wrexham for London, having effected an exchange of practice as a solicitor with Mr. J. H. R. Powell, of 72, Victoria Street, Westminster. Mr. Evans, who has been for some years a member of the Wrexham Town Council, has resigned his seat on that body, but he is retaining his appointment as coroner, which office he has held for sixteen years. Mr. Evans is the son of an old and respected Welsh journalist, Mr. James Evans, of Carnar- von, who founded the Herald Cymraeg, and was for many years its editor. He is also a nephew, on the maternal side, of Mr. William Evans, of the Board of Trade, formerly of Chester.
