OURESANnOQMFORTFORlWEBEDRIDDEN BY HOLLOWAY'S OINTMENT. THIS wonderful Ointment acts like magic in relieving and curing old sores, wounds, bad legs, ulcers, and eruptions of the skin; when tubbed on the surface it penetrates and purifies each tissue on its passage, and exerts the most wholesome influence over the internal structures. It heals by cleansing all animal fluids with which it comes in contact, and thereby promotes a sound and permanent cure. Gout and Rheumatism. To sufferers from the racking pains of Rheumntism and Gout this Ointment will prove invaluable. After fomentation with warm water the soothing action of this Ointment is most remarkable; it seems at once to lessen i .flammation, ease pain, reduce the swelling, restore natural circulation, and expels the disease. For the a'10ve complaints Holloway's Ointment and Pills are in- valuable specifics. Diptheria, Bronchitis, Sore Throats, Coughs, and Colds. This class of diseases may be cured by well rubbing the Ointment, three times a day, upon the throat, chest, and back of the patient. It will soon penetrate and give immediate relief. In all stages of Influenza, Colds, and Bronchitis, this treatment may be followed with effi- ciency and .safety—indeed it has never been known to fail. All Varieties of Skin Diseases, Scrofula, and Scurvy. This Ointment is a certain cure for Ringworm, Scurvy Scrofula, or King's Evil, and the most inveterate skin diseases to which the human race is subject. They can- not be treated with a safer or more speedy remedy than Holloway's Ointment, assisted by his celebrated Pills, which act so powerfully on the constitution and so purify the blood that these disorders are completely eradicated from the system, and lasting cure obtained. Piles, Fistulas, and Internal Inflammation, These complaints are most distressing to both body and mind, false delicacy concealing them trom the knowledge of the most intimate friends. Persons suffer for years from Piles and similar complaints when they might use Holloway's Ointment with instant relief, and effect their own cure without the annoyance of explaining their ail- ments to anyone. The Pills greatly assist the Ointment as they purify the blood, regulate its circulation, reno-v deceased structures, and invigorate the entire system. Both the Ointmentand Pills should be used in thefollowing cases:- Bad Legs Chiego-foot Fistulas Sore-throats Bad Breasts Chilblains Gout Skin-disease Burns Chapped-hands GlanduLarSweMugs Scurvy Bunions Corns (Soft) Lumbago Sore-hends Bite of Iilos- Cancers Piles Tumours chetoes & Contracted and Rheumatism Uleers Sand-Flies Stiff-joints Scald heads Wounds Coco-Bay Elephantiasis Sore Nipples Taws Sold at the Establishment of rrofessorHolloway, 244, Strand, kneai: Temple Bar) London, and also by all respectable druggists and dealers in medicines throughollt the civilized world, at the ollowing prices:—ls.l £ d, 2s.9d., 4s.6d, lis, 22s, & 33s.each pot V* Thereis a considerablesaving by taking thelargersizes. OINTMENT AND PILLS.—Cramps—Neuralgia— Spasms.—These severe nervous affections are h ippily moderated in their intensity and duration by the soothing and purifyiagj powers of these inestimable prepartions. Whether the enmip be in the stomach, legs, or toes, it yields with equal facility to the application of the Ointment; and the recurrence of these dk- disorders is effectually prevented by a course of Holloway's PJ.21iO" which so regulate the stomach and bowels that perfect and easy degestion is ensured, and spasms avoided. The Ointment gives local, the rills general relief. Enlargement of Ole glandt;, OU-. d,, a structed or defective circulation are likewise toon corrccieci iir these invaluable preparations, which purify and strengthen the blood, andimpart tone to every organ in the body. There can be no better example of the adaptation of modes of life, to changes in the demands made upon one or set of faculties, than the rapid extension both in the supply and in the demand for light wines. Singularly enough in Use age of Elizabeth, which bore no litt:e resemblance to our own, these light wines, or some of them at all events, made the daily beverageof those ment by whom the intellectual faculties were hourly exercised, sometimes to the neglect of that physical labour to which, the bulk of the people were devoted.- [Extract from W., and A.
