PRENDERGAST CHURCH RESTORATION…
PRENDERGAST CHURCH RESTORATION FUND. IN the year 1845 an effort was made by the late Rev. W. W. Harris to 'repair and enlarge' the Parish Church of Prendergast, and subscriptions were promised towards that object to the amount of about JB200. The feilureof that effort from various causes, combined with the increased dilapidates which have accrued during the last twenty years now render an entire reconstruc- tion and enlargement of the fabric absolutely necessary. Towards this undertaking the Hector and Church- Wardens respectfully solicit the assistance of the public.
