MR DAN DAVIES. Merthyr has every occasion to proud of its musical talent, and can easily lay claim to possessing the cream. Mr. Dan Davies, who in 1393 led the largest Congregational choir in Wales, numbering 15,000 voices at the great Pontypridd pavilion, has been engaged for no less than 20 festivals and eistedd- fodau during the present year.
