MERTHYR ORPHEUS SOCIETY. TLIO above society, which, under the leadership of Mr. W. H. Powell, A.C., recently gave such excel- lent performances of Blodwen at the Temperance Hall, held a most enjoyable soiree at Hope Hall on i Tuesday evening. The tables were laid out in the j most elegant manner by the lady members of the society. After partaking of the good things provided, an excellent programme was gone through, the chair- J man being Mr. T. STEAD man June. London.
