Sadler, William Shanley, John Thompson, Patrick Thornton, Henry Tighe, Patrick Whyte, being persons hitherto employed in this Depart- ment, have left the same for the purpose of assisting in the survey of projected Railway Lines and other Works, aud have in their possession Appointments from the Board of Ordnance enabling them, for the purpose of the Government Surveys, to enter Lands without being deemed Trespassers. Notice is hereby given, that the above-named persons having ceased to be employed by this Department, such appointments have become can- celled, and any use being made of them for the purpose of entering Lands after this Notice subjects the offender to a penalty of £ 30 and all persons to whom any such Appointments may be presented, are authorized to detain them, and forward the same to R. Byham, Esq., Secretary to the Board of Ordnance, Pall Mall, London. By Order of the Master General and Board of Ordnance, R. BYH AM, Secretary.
