MERTHYR TYDFIL GAS COMPANY. WITH a Winter before us which, in all likelihood, will be one of the most trying and disastrous that we have known, it is incumbent on every household to exercise a prudential loresignt a thoughtful economy. Aud in no way can this be exercised so well as by a rigid examination the articles of domestic requirement and daily use. To one item, and in the Winter this is one of the most important items of consideration, we beg to direct public attention, feeling assured ha hv so doing we are consulting most largely their individual interests. This item of Snenditure is LIGHT, which, of late, owing to the exorbitant nncess of oil and candles, and the neglect of a cheap and valuable substitute, has figured conspicuously m the annual exp The Merthyr Gas Company having spared no expense in the enlargement o » nuritv'and now prepared to meet every demand, and can supply, at the cheapest rate, a Gas that, m pun y an Hotel., and Institutions, pnvate individuals thinking it too costly for their use This impression f Institu > [i disappear altogether when the fact is known that Gas is the Cheapest X?™?huS7anbeVbtaLd, and not only the cheapest, but safer, and is a great comfort m a (hvclhng house.
