Agricultural Returns, 1867. mHE BOARD OF TRADE desire to give; Notice JL that FORMS for RETURNS OF Land tinder CtQPS" and the Number of Live Stock," will be sent by post to all Occupiers of land in Great Britain, pre- viously to the 25th of J UNE, upon which day it is re- quested the Forms n.ay be properly filled up, accord- ing to the printed instruclions, and promptly returned to the Collecting Officers. In collecting Agricultural Returns the only object is to obtain for the information of the public reliable facts as to the home supply of Corn and Cattle. The Officers of Inland Revenue are therefore selected by the Government as a con- venient and efficient local agency to obtain the infor- mation with as little trouble as possible to the Occu- P1CThe successful collection of Agricultural Returns must, however, greatly depend upon the willing help of tie Landed Proprietors and the Tenant Farmers, and the Board of Trade would urge upon them the importance of assisting, as far as they aie able, to make the Returns a source of correct and valuable information.
