Abergavenny Highway District. MONMOUTHSHIRE TO WIT. WHEREAS, by a Provisional Order, made at a General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the said County, held at the TowN HALL, Usk, in the said County, on the THIRTY-FIRST day of DECEMREF, 1866, it was Ordered that the Parishes of Llantilio Pertholey, Ultra and Citra, in the said District, should be joined and combined into one Parish, of the same area as the Poor-law Parish of Llantilio Pertholey, and to be called the Parish of Llantilio Pertholey; that no separate Waywardens should be elected for such Pa- rishes that such Parish should be subject tothe same liabilities in respect of the Highways within it, which were before maintained by such Parishes separately, as if their several liabilities had attached to the whole Parish; and that two Waywardens should be elected for such Parish as a whole. AND WHEREAS it was by the said Provisional Order further Ordered and directed, that the number of Waywardens to be elected for the Parish of Aberga- venny, including the Hamlets of Hardwick and Lloyndee, in the said district should be altered to two Waywardens. AND WHEREAS by the said Provisional Order, it was further Ordered and directed, that the number of Waywardens to be elected for such part of the Parish of Llanover as is not included in the Blaenavon Dis- trict, and is in the Abergavenny Highway District, should be altered to Two Waywardens, and that the said District should in future comprise the parishes and places following, that is to say— Aborgavenny, including the Llanvetherino Hamlets of Hardwick and Llangattock Lingoed Lloyndee Llanvapley Bwlch Trewyn Llanwenarth Ultra Cwmyoy Higher Llanwenarth Citra Cwmyoy Lower Liantilie Pertholey Llanellen; Llanthewy Skirrid Llanover (part of) Llangattock-nigh-Usk Llanvihangel Crucorney.in- Llanfoist eluding the Hamlet of Llansaintfraed Penbiddle Llanvihangehnigh-Uak Llanthewy Rytherch Oldcastle excepting from such district, any and all districts con- stituted under the Public Health Act, 1848, and the Local Government Act, 1853, or either of such Acts, all parishes and places under the superintendence of Boards established under the provisions of the Act 5 and 6 William IV., cap. 50, sec. 18. All parishes and places or parts of parishes and places the highways whereof are maintained under the provisions of any Local Act of Parliament; and all parishes and places within the limits of any borough. AND WHEREAS it was by the said Provisional Order further Ordered, that except as therein otherwise pro- vided, each parish in the said district should elect one Waywarden. AND WHEREAS it was Lastly Ordered that the con- firmation of the said Provisional Order should be taken into consideration by the Justices at a Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace, to be holden at the Town Hall, in the Town of Usk as aforesaid, in the said county, on the 18th day of March, 1867. Now, therefore, at this present Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the said county, held at the Town Hall, Usk, aforesaid, on the said 18th day of March,One thousand eight hundred and sixty seven, the Justices assembled thereat, having considered the premises, do by this Final Order con- firm the said Provisional Order.
