COUNTY OF MONMOUTH. WHEREAS at a Court of General Quarter TV Sessions, held at Usk, in and for the said County, on the 31st day of DECEMBER last, a PRO- VISIONAL ORDER was made in the words follow- ing—that it is to say :— "The SAID COURT, in pursuance of the power rested in the Court, in and by the Acts 25 and 26 Vic., cap. 61, and 27 and 28 Vic., cap. 101, do by the following PROVISIONAL ORDER direct- That the Parishes of Llantillio Pertholey, Ultra and Citra, in the said District be joined and combin- ed into one parish of the same area as the Poor Law Parish of Llantillio Pertholey, and to be called the parish of Llantillio Pertholey that no separate waywardens shall be elected for such parishes that such parish shall be subject to the same liabilities in respect of the highways within it, which were before maintained by such parishes separately, as if their several liabilities had attached to the whole parish and that two Waywardens shall be elected for such parish as a whole. And the said Court do, by this Provisional Order, further direet that the number of waywardens to be elected for the parish of Abergavenny, including the hamlets of Hardwick and Lloyndee in the said District, shall be altered to two Waywardens. And further, the said Court do by this Provisional Order direct that the number of waywardens to be elected for such part of the parish of Llanover as is not included in the Blaenavon District, and is in the Abergavenny Highway District, shall be alter- ed to two waywardens; and that the said District do in future comprise the parishes and places following, that is to say Abergavenny, including r the Hamlets of Hard- wick and Lloyndee Bwlch Trewyn Cwmyoy Higher Cwmyoy Lower Llanellen Llanover (part of) Llanvihangel Crucorney, including the Hamlet of Penbiddle Llanthewy Svtherch Llanvetherine Llangattock Lingoed Llanvapley Llanwenarth Ultra Llanwenarth Citra Llantillio Pertholey Llanthewy Skyrrid Llangattock nigh Usk Llanfoist Llansaintfraed Llanvihangel nigh U sk Oldcastle excepting from such District any and all Districts constituted under the Public Health Act, 1848, and the Local G-overament Act, 1853, or either of eueh A rtfo | ctU pavUK*« ..flinJ. ylaooa uildev tKfl tendence ofBoards established under the provisions of the Act 5 and 6 William 4, cap. 50, sec. 18: all parishes and places, or parts of parishes and places, the highways whereof are maintained under the pro- visions of any Local Act of Parliament: and all parishes and places, or parts of parishes and places, within the limits of any borough. It is further ordered by the said Court, that except as herein otherwise provided, each pariah in the said District shall elect one Waywarden. Lastly, it it is ordered that the confirmation of the foregoing Provisional Order by a Final Order shall be taken into consideration by the Justices at a Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace, to be holden at the Town Hall, in the Town of Usk afore- said, in and for the said county, on the Eighteenth day of March, One thousand eight hundred and sixty seven. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the confirmation of the said Provisional Order, by a final Order, will be taken into consideration by the Justices at the Court of General Quarter Sessions, to be held at Usk, on the 18th day of March next. NOTIOE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I have received a Requisition and Presentment made pursuant to The Prison let, 1865," as follows, that is to say To Charles Prothero, Esq., Clerk of the Peace for the County of Monmouth. SIR,- Wè, whose names are attached to the accompanying Presentment," request that you will give the notice required by the 24th section of the Prison Act, 1865, in order that the same may be taken into consideration at the Quarter Sessions to be holden on Monday, the 18th day of March next, by the Prison Autnority of the Usk Prison:— Presentment of the necessity for the enlargement of the Uske Gaol and House of Correction. At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the county of Monmouth, held at the Town Hall, Uske, on Monday, the 19th day of March last, it was resolved That all criminal prisoners be confined in Uske Prison," and whereas, in order to efficiently carry out this resolution, it will be necessary to enlarge the said Uske Prison, therefore, in accord- ance with the provisions of the Prison Act, 1865, section 24, we, being Justices, having jurisdiction within the district of the Prison Authority of the said prison, do make presentment of such necessity for enlargement; and further, we give notice that at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the County of Monmouth, to be holden at the Town Hall, Uske,on Monday, the 18th deiyof Marchnext,we shall make application for the enlargement of Uske Prison, to the extent that may there and then be deemed -</ necessary to meet the requisitions of the said Prison Act; and for setting back certain portions of the outer boundary wall of the said prison, if required by the enlargement that may be decided upon. COUNTY OF MONMOUTH. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,—That the next GENERAL QUARTER SESSIONS of the PEACE for the County of MONMOUTH, will be held at the TOWN HALL in USK, on MONDAY, the 18th day of MARCH, 1867, and that the Court will sit at half-past 11 o'clock in the forenoon, and immediately proceed to administer the oaths to Magistrates and persons desirous of qualfying for office. The Court will then proceed with all business relat- ing to the assessment, application, and management of the County Stock or Rate, or any Fund or Funds used and applied in aid thereof, and make orders for payments, and consider and direct the General Busi- ness of the County. All Bills and Demands relating to the public expen- diture of the County, must be delivered into the office of the Clerk of the Peace, fourteen days before the Sessions, and all Appeals and Traverses must be entered with the Clerk of the Peace, before Twelve o'clock at Noon on the Second day of the Sessions. At half.pa4t Nine o'clock on TUESDAY, the J9th day of MARCH, 1867, the Grand and Petty Juries will be called over, and are to answer to their names, or in de- fault, they will be fined; and all Persons bound by recognizances are to attend, as the Court will proceed to try indictments for felonies, traverses, and appeals, and transact the other business of the Sessions. All convictions and recognizances, and all informa- tions and depositions, must be delivered or transmitted to the Clerk of the Peace Three clear days previous to the Sessions.
