NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the next Gen- eral Quarter Sessions of the Peace will be held and kept at the Town Hall, in the town of Lampeter, in and for the said County, on Tuesday, the 28th day of June instant, at Eleven o'clock in the fore- noon, at which time and place the Court will proceed to the adoption of the provisions of the several Acts of Parliament relating to the assessment, application, and management of the County and Police Rates,and will pass all Bills examined and approved of by the Finance Committee, after which all other County Business will be proceeded with. It will be moved that the Court advertise for a loan for meeting the cost to be incurred in the repairing and re-erectme of County Bridges damaged and carried away by the floods. The attention of the Court will be called to the indisoriminate issue of Occasional Licences, and a Resolution will be moved thereon, and that the Fee payable to the County for an Occasional Licence be in future 2s 6d. To appoint a member of the County Roads Board, in the room of the Rev Octavius Davies, deceased. And Notice is hereby also given, that after the dis- posal of the county business the court will proceed with the other business of the Sessions, in the follow- ing order :-Firstly, Trials of Prisoners secondly, Trials of Traverses; and thirdly, Hearing of Common Motions and Appeals. THE Guardians of this Union will, at their meeting -L to be held on Monday, the 20th day of June, 1887, proceed to elect a duly qualified Medical Practitioner for the Aberystwyth District, compris- ing the parish of Aberystwyth, and the townships of Issayndre, Uchayndre, Vaenor Upper, and Vaenor Lower, which contains an area of 4,071 acres or thereabouts, and a population of 8,612 persons, and for the workhouse of the union. The salary will be J620 per annum for the district and il5 per annum for the workhouse, exclusive of the authorised fees for surgical and midwifery cases. The person appointed will be required to supply all medicines, excepting such as are specified as expensive medicines" in the Local Government Board Orders, and also to contract with the Guardians forthe performance of Vaccination at the following fees, viz. :-For each case at the vaccinator's resi- dence Is 6d, at the station at Llanbadarn-fawr 2s. 6d. The person appointed will be required to enter on the duties from the date of the appointment, and the appointment will be subject to the approval of the Local Government Board.
