PhMkArk Jafi, „ ToevflYyllb, rhubarb, allow lib of loaf angar. Peel and cut the rhubarb into strips, and for every pound put one pound of sugar into the preserving pan. Pour in a half teacupful of water to keep the sugar from burning, and when it has all dissolved put in the fruit. Stir gently with a wooden spoon, and remove all scum as it rises. If the rhubarb is young it should bo done in about one hoar. Pour into pots and cover with jam covers.
