SCRAPS OVERHEARD. That an Abergeleite boasted that Mostyn is only 25. If this is right it will be a sur- prise to many. That the Abergele crowd is very unsports- manlike. That Referee Miers was not sufficiently strict with the players. But taking into consideration the attitude of the crowd he was not altogether to be blamed. That J. T. Williams was stoned whilst leaving the ground, but punishment quickly followed the culpits. One Abergele player tried to protect the visitors. That at a meeting of the club held on Thursday, it was decided to call upon the supporters of the club for financial help. Subscription- books are to be issued, and it is to be hoped that all all who have not already assisted the club will do 80. Prestatyn's chance of the championship is still rosy, and a little financial help will do a lot to keep the club going. Ruthin, who are the visitors next Saturday are new to Prestatyn let us. give them a hearty welcome. Prestatyn team v. Ruthin: Goal, W. Glass backs, J. T. Williams and Jack Jones; halves, D. G. Jones. Bell Jones, and T. Brooks forwards, R. Hughes, E. Holbrook, J. Parry, G. Glass, and L. W. Watts. Printed and Published by J. T. BURROWS, High-st.,Prestatyn, in the County of Flint.
