We beg to report that we have verified the Cash and Bills of Exchange on hand at the Head Office, and at the Liverpool and District Branches, and have examined the securites representing the Bank's Investments, and those held against short loans and advances to customers, and find them to be in order We have also examined the above Balance Sheet in detail with the Books at the Head Office and the Certified Returns from the Branches, and. in our opinion, the Balance Sheet is a full and fair one, properly drawn up so as to exhibit a correct view of the Bank's affairs, as shown by the Books of the Bank.
