BARRY DISTRICT BURIAL BOARD. The first meeting of the Barry, Cadoxton, and Merthyr Dovan District Burial Board for the present year was held on Tuesday evening last at Holton-road Board School, Barry Dock, present- Messrs J. A. Manaton, J. Rees, W. Thomas, J. Price, W. W. Adams, James Jones, J. H. Jose, W. P. Clark, G. Brock, M. Nicholls, W. Harper, F. Burgess, and W. Copp, with Mr. J. A. Hughes (clerk).-On the motion of Mr J. H. Jose, seconded by Mr W. Harper, Mr John Rees waa elected chairman of the board for the ensuing year.- The Clerk reported there had been thirteen burials at the cemetery during the past month; expenditure, £10 13s and receipts, d68 7s.— Several bills were passed; and the treasurer's book showed a balance due from the Board of jESlO 2s 2d.-Consideration was given to the matter of erecting an urinal at the cemetery, and it was decided to refer the same back to a committee, Mr J. A. Owen, architect and surveyor, Cadoxton. to be consulted.—Mr Copp gave notice to move a resolution for the removal of all wooden head- stones in the cemetery within a specified time.
