FOR SIX NIGHTS AND ONE DAY PER- FORMANCE ONLY. CQimnencing Monday, April 17,1892. 6 1 MR. JOSEPH POOLE'S NO. 1 NEW MY RIO RAM A. A wonaerful collection of Magnificient Scenes, painted by Great Britian's most famous Artistes, entitled Sights of the World," to which is now a.dded the following gorgeous tableau :— DARKEST AFRICA! Not mere passing pictures, but almost a. living realiza- tion of this now famous March of Stanley through the Congo Forest. CONSTANTINOPLE; Showing the entire city and suburbs. The Sultan's State Barge and other pleasure barges are seen rowing up the river Bosphorous. Unanimously admitted to be the grandest work of art on tour. THE FALLS OF NIAGARA I In all seasons and under all aspects. THE GOODWIN SANDS. Depicting the horrors of a wreck on the Kentish coast, acknowledged by mariners to be simply perfection. A FEW EXTRACTS FROM THE CARDIFF and SWANSEA PRESS. '• The success of Mr. Joseph Poole's Myriorama »t the Philharmonic Hall is most remarkable. Sight after night the house has been packed with enthusiastic who have followed the lecturer in hit, description of the beautiful scenes I 'e with the greatest interest. It is needless to enter into de- tailed criticism, but it may be stated roundly that the show is the best of the kiud ever seen in Cardiff."— Western Mail, October llth, 1832. During the past week the Philharmonic Ilall has been visited bv large and delisted audiences to witness the admir- able spectacle so well known as Poole's Myriorama. The Trip Round the World is depicted in a series of eeally s'llendid pictures, to see which is alone worth the money charged for admission. The Tableau showing the Rise of the Moon on the Bosphorous at Constantinople—the procession of the Sultan's Barged—is one of the prettit tit bits of scenic dis- play ever attempted. The chief interest, however, is centred in the Scenes from Darkest Africa, in which Mr. Joseph Poole has fairly surpassed himself."—The South 1!'aha Daily }>eics, October llth, 1302. 'r Among the numerous entertainments provided for the declaration of the Swansea public during the Christmas Holi- days, none will be found more enjoyable than that provided at the Albert Hall under the title of Sights of the 'World,' evidencei by the fact that the two performances given on Boxin? Day were witnessed by crowded audiences, who marked their appreciation of the hi?h merit of the entertain- ment by outbursts of applause as loud and frequent a, they were certainly well deserved. Mr. Joseph Poole's Myriorama is certainly the best entertainment of its kind we have seen, and will doubtless receive that share of public patronage which it deserves during the brief season it remains in the town."—Cambrian Daily Leader, December 27th. 1892.
