SALE.—Mr. D. T. Alexander (Messrs Stephenson and Alexander) on Monday sold by auction, on the Wyndham Farm, Bridgend,"the farming stock, crops, itc., the property of Mr. Hislop, of the Wyndham Arms Hotel, who v. ill soon leave Bridgend. Previous to the sale, Mr. and Mrs. Hislop gave a first-class luncheon to about 150 invited guests, at the close of which MivD. T. Alexander proposed the health of Mr. and Mrs. Hislop, a toast which was most heartily drunk with three times three," and responded to by Mr. Hislop. The guests were afterwards taken down in breaks to the Wyndham Farm, which is situate about a mile from the hotel. There about 60 head of cattle, a good number of horses, sheep, and pigs, and about 100 tons of clover and meadow hay were offered for sale. The sale was fairly brisk throughout. Mr. and Mrs. Hislop will leave Bridgend with the best wishes of their many friends.
