THOMAS GRIFFITHS HAS been favoured with instructions from the Trustees in Bankruptcy of the above-named JOHN SAMUEL WILLIAMS, to SELL by PUBLIC AUCTION, at the above place, on TUESDAY, the 14th of May, 1878, all the HORSES, CATTLE, SHEEP, PIGS, DOGS, POULTRY, a quantity of HAY and CORN, MODERN AGRICULTU- RAL IMPLEMENTS, well-preserved HOUSE- HOLD FURNITURE, &c., viz.8 powerful cart horses, 1 half-bred two-vear-old colt by Stamford, one cob filly (two-year-old by Langton), 1 yearling colt by Cardigan Buck, 1 pure-bred shorthorn bull (a fine beast, bought of Mr. Trollip, of Cardigan), 8 Castlemartin and other cows, 5 two-year-old steers, 6 two-year-old heifers, 1 yearling steer, 8 yearling heifers, 3 Southdown rams, 36 Southdown sheep and 57 lambs, 2 sows in farrow, 1 sow with litter of four, 1 young sow, 2 pigs (fit for butchers), 9 store pigs, geese, ducks, fowls, and 3 dogs; a quantity of seed and meadow hay, 3 stacks of wheat, I stack of barley, and a quantity of straw; threshing machine and shaker complete, winnow- ing and chaffcutting machines, furze bruiser, grind mill (complete and nearly new, by E. R. & F. Turner, Ipswich—a good article)-all working by water power; 4 strong carts with trebles, 2 small carts, 2 large iron rollers, cultivator, 3 iron ploughs, harrows, couch rake, iron drag harrow, turnip sowing machine, and numerous other articles for agricultural purposes, together with the valuable Household Furniture, comprising large telescope, loo, and other mahogany tables, mahogany, oak, and other chairs, clocks, pictures, cupboards, &c., iron and other bedsteads, feather beds, bolsters, pillows, and bed linen, spring mattress, wash- stands, dressing tables, looking glasses, china, bedroom chairs, chest of drawers, &c., &c. Also TWO CANNONS and CARRIAGES, weighing machine and weights, and sundry articles too nu- merous to particularise. Credit on Conditions. Sale to commence at 12 o'clock precisely.
