I.B.R.A. The eighth year of the Prestatyn Branch of the International Bible Reading Association will commence with the New Year. The Parent Society has been established since 1882. Its members number nearly one million, are distributed over (50 ditl'ercnt countries, and belong to upwards of 50 denominations. The object of the association is to promote the Daily Heading of the Bible in the home. That this is necessary may be concluded from the words of Dr G. Campbell Morgan at the last anniversary meeting There are thousands of Christian people who are endeavouring to live a Christian life, while they are neglecting their own personal study of the Word of God. I submit this to you, it is a commonplace thing to say, and yet the commonplace is the thing that men need to be reminded of over and over again, that you and I can no more live the spiritual life, and the Christian life, without perpetual and regular study of the Word, than we can live our physical life without proper susten- ance." The local branch has an enrolment of nearly 200 members. Anyone wishing to join may obtain cards of membership, etc., free, either in English or Welsh, by applying to the Hon.
