Soar Chapel, Clydach Vale Last lhursday and Saturday evenings, the 1st and 3rd inst., two grand perform- ances of J. 0. Murdoch's "Happy Hearts" were given at the above chapel by Soar Band of Hope Choir, conducted by Mr. Arthur Jones. Tht Soar Orchestral Society also rendered assistance. Accom- panist, Miss M. AI. Thomas, L.L.C.A1.. Clydach A',ile. There was a vast audi- ence present at both performances. On Thursday evening the chair was taken by Councillor James Evans, C.C., Clydach Yale, On Saturday evening Dr. T. L. Al organ, M.D., Clydach ale, being un- able to be present, his place was taken by Councillor Evan J. Roderick Clydach Vale. On Saturday evening, also, Air. Richard J ones, Clydach Vale, sang three excellent solos, which were fully appre- ciated by the audience.
