PENARTH V. UNIVERSITY COLLEGE (CARDIFF). This return fixture was played at Penarth on Satur- day last. The University men won the toss, and elected to bat, sending in Frazer and Biggs to do first duty. They, however, were soon dismissed, and the only man who could cmake any stand was Cundell, who put together 10 run'. The whole team was dis- missed for 36 runs. Penarth then sent in J. P. Jones and J. G. Llewellyn, who both played in good form, and when Llewellyn was bowled, the score had reached 40. J. P. Jones (27), H. E. Morgan (24), and Wright (32), batted well for Ptnarth.
