Prince of Wales is a splendid dark chesnut, rising three years old, stands 17 hands high, with plenty of bone and action, is well oroportioned and perfectly sound, and has proved him3elf a sure foal getter. He was reserved aud highly commended at the R)j-al A!ricultural Show at Manchester in 1869, when compe ing with 12 splendid 2-year old horses. The first prize of X20 was awarded to him at the Denbighshire and Flintshire Agricultural Show at Holywell in the same year. Prince of Wales was got by Young Sampson; Young Sampson by Sampson, the property of Mr Thos. Masey, of Acton Bridge, Ch shire, wh:cl1 h irse was the champion of the Northern division of England. Sampson obtained first prizes at many of the Royal Agricu.tural Shows. Prince of Wales's dam, a splendid bay mare, now the property of Mr Edwai-ds, tanner, Mold, was bred by the late Mr Price of Hendrs, Nerquis, and was got by Young Blucher out of a powiriul bay mare by old Marquis. Young Blucher was got by Prince of Wales, Prince of Wales by Old Marson, which horse was sold by Mr Chadwick for 500 guineas. Prince of Wales, although similar in color, is perfectly free from Suffolk blood. His ancestors can be traced, with the greatest facility, for ages—nearly all of them being bred in Cheshire and Flintshire. ROUTE.-From Ruthin at noon on Monday, to Mold for the night. From Mold on Tuesday morning, calling at Northop and Hawarden, to the Glynne Arms Hotel, Queen's Ferry, for the night.
