A VERY general desire having been expressed by the 2jL inhabittots of Bersham and Rhostyllan, attending the weekly Sunday Evening Services in the Bersham National School Room, to convey to the Rev James Dixon some token expressive of their obligation to him lor having instituted these servica, and voluntarily and disinterestedly continued them for several years, thereby j bringing within the reach of many poor and infirm persons the privileges of Public Worship and religious ministration according to the formula of the Established Church; it has been determined at a meeting held in Bersham, to enter into a subscription for the purpose. The population of these hamlets consisting chiefly ot poor people, it is not expected that a tribute possessing any considerable value beyond the hearty sentiment desired to be conveyed, can be presented to Mr Dixon, and it is therefore thought desirable to invite such of the parishioners of Wrexham as may appreciate Mr Dixon s gratuitous services in this district to participate in the memorial. The promoters desire it to be distinctly understood, in giving publicity to the movement, that it is not intended that any form of solicitation should be assumed. The design is made public, that the friends of Mr Dixon generally may be informed of it and have the opportunity, if so disposed, of contributing towards it. Contributions will be received at the National Pro- vincial Bank, Wrexham. SUBSCRIBERS AND PROMOTERS. £ s. d. Tho?. Ll. Fitzhugh, Esq., Plus Power. 10 0 0 H. W.
