On the following nwrning I made for the Great Gal- way Station, and took a ticket for Mulinga1', distant DO miles. It was a very long and heavy train, as neaily all the passengers bad an unusual amount of, not only or- dinary luggage, but numerous packages, or rather small gage, I)ut zutnerouii psi ka4 bal,??, of shop goods, and 80 far the bccond class car- 'i.g?8 arc wel' adapted for ud? stowage, and in poml of eomfoit nearly nqual to our lirst cia. SANITARY CONDITIO;; OF BANGOR To the Editor of the North Wau'.s Cftrotiicte, S-ir,—Can you tell me how it is tnat ut the laH meet- in of the Carnarvon Harbour Tiustees, Mr, O. O. Roberts was permitted to enter into a long tirade about II", sanitary condition of Han if or, and to utter aU soits of mis-statements, knowing that there was no one pre- sent to contradict hira 1 The Chairman, Ithink, ought to have stopped him, but it appears he gave him the fulllengtll of his tether. If the chamber of the Trus- tees is to be made the arena for libelling Bangor and its Board of Health, it will be requisite for the Bangor people to exe,-l themselres to get a representative there who can and will defend them. People will then he- gin to inquire why the proper business of the trust is postponed, and the time of the otuer Trustees consumed by such discussions Bangor, Oct. [I presume illr. Johnson, the C.E. for Bangor, will address a letter to the Trustees, pointing out the false- hoO'ls contained in Mr. Roberts's uddrea8.]
