MASTER AND MATRON WANTED. rHE Guardians of this Union are desirious of receiving ? applications from persons competent to undertake the duties of Master and Matron of the Workhouse. Applicants should be Man and Wife (without en- cumbrance), or Brother and Sister ages to be between 30 and 45 years: must speak Welsh and English. Salary of the Master, .£50; of the Matron, .£25 per annum; together with rations, rooms, &c., which are valued at .t45 and .£31 respectively, for the purposes of the Superannuation Acts. Applicants must be fully competent to perform all the duties prescribed by the Local Government Board and the Board of Guardians, including cooking by the Matron. Both will be required to devote the whole of their time to their duties, and the appointments will be subject to the approval of the Local Government Board.
