PEMBROKESHIRE- I THE HUST W EEK. Haverfordwest is experiencing one of the gayest Hunt weeks itihas had for many a year past. The ball-room last week contained upwards of 140 of the rank and beauty of the Principality, among whom were Earl and Countess of Cawdor, Viscount and Lady Emlyn, Sir Richard and Lady Phillips, &c. &c., and the dance was kept up with great spirit till an early hour. The Harmonic Society gives a concert this evening [Thursday] and it is believed from the number of tickets sold, and the increasing proficiency of the members, that there will be a bumper. THE FREEMASONS of Pembroke Dock purpose com- memorating the anniversary of their titular Saint on the 27th of December, by dining together in their large lodge room at the Victoria Hotel, Pembroke Dock. Mr. Kurd wood, an officer in Her Majesty service at Pembroke, has been elected master 8f the lodge; and will be, agree- ably to ancient custom, installed on that day. A THE ATRE has lately been opened at Pembroke Dock. On Wednesday three interesting little pieces were pro- duced in which the manager (who is certainly a clever ftctor) as well as others of the party, seemed to give uni- versal satisfaction. ELECTION OF A CORONER.—'Tuesday last being the day appointed for electing a Coroner for the county of Pembroke, in the room ot John Stokes Stokes, Esq., of Cutiern, who had, from ill health, petitioned the Loid Chancellor to be removed, John Stokes, Esq., (son of the above gentleman), was proposed by Win. Ed wardes, Esq., of Sealyham, seconded by W m. Evans, Isq., of Haver- fordwest, as a fit and proper person to serve the office. It was thought from the printed addresses of two medical gentlemen, that there would have been a contest, but no other candidate appealing, the sheriff, after the usual preliminaries, declared Mr. Stokes to be duty elected. Mr. Child's Fox Hounds will meet on Tuesday next at Marros Church; atul on Friday, at Caters Wood— each day at half-past 9.
